Please Note

To be eligible for Health Care Card and Pensioner discounts, you must have your card details up to date in your patient information and have your card with you when attending the appointment. Health Care Cards and Pension cards must be shown to reception staff to receive the discount.

Veterans Affairs patients are bulk billed to Veterans Affairs if the patient is a Gold Card Holder.

Longer consultations/procedures, home visits, hospital visits and after-hours consultations attract higher fees.

Please advise at the time of booking if a longer consultation is required or if you are booking in for a procedure. This ensures that your doctor can keep to time.

Due to rising costs, Wyndham House Clinic may increase fees when necessary. We thank you for your understanding in advance, as we endeavour to provide all our patients with a cost-effective service to meet the needs of our community.

REPEAT SCRIPTS

We can issue a repeat script for collection, faxed to a pharmacy or QR coded to your phone without a consultation if you have had a consult in the last 6 months and the same medication was previously prescribed. A $15 fee is payable upon receipt of the script.

In some cases, the GP may require you to schedule a short or standard consultation to review prior to issuing a repeat script. For repeat scripts of previously prescribed medication, we offer short script appointments.

WORKCOVER

All Workcover related consultations are charged full fee directly to the patient at the time of the consultation until a Workcover claim has been accepted by your employer’s insurance company. On occasions in the absence of an approved claim, the patient may need to cover costs up to $800. These will be fully refundable when the claim is approved through the insurance company. We will always provide you a receipt that you may submit for a Workcover reimbursement claim. We do not bill insurance companies directly for Workcover claims.
